Raw Chocolate Caramel Dip
You can whip up this luscious, raw chocolate caramel dip in less than 10 minutes! It’s especially delicious with apples, strawberries, cantaloupe, pears, and bananas.
Raw Chocolate Caramel Dip

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup Dates (pitted)
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 2/3 cups Cashews (raw)
- 2 tablespoons Cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon Carob powder
- 1 tablespoon Flaxseed powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract or Powder
- 3-4 cups Sliced Fruits
Directions
1. | Soak the dates in 1/4 cup water for a few minutes. In a blender blend the cashews and water to creat cashew cream. Add the dates, cacao powder, carob powder, flaxseed, vanilla powder and salt and blend into a smooth paste.
Dip the fruits in the caramel sauce and arrange in a plater. Refrigerate till about 15-20 minutes before ready to serve. Or serve the fruits and dip separately in a plater. Goes well with apples, cantaloups, pears, not too ripe bananas. |

This dip is in harmony with Vata and Pitta inclined constitutions; it can be enjoyed by those Kapha inclined, in very small portion.
