Ginger Brown Rice

The addition of ginger and fresh hers is a great way to add a little flavor to a plate of steamed rice or quinoa. Like with this Ginger Brown Rice recipe!

Ginger Brown Rice

  • 1 cup brown rice (uncooked)
  • 1 ” fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 Serrano pepper (finely chopped)
  • 1 stalk green onions (finely chopped)


1. Rinse the rice and in a pot heat up 2 cups of water, add the rice, ginger, Serrano pepper and green onions.
2. Let it come to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook for 25-30 mins.
3. Serve hot with beans or lentils or vegetables.
